China-based smartphone maker vivo has launched its new V range of smartphones in India, which will be priced between Rs 15,000 and Rs 20,000.
The vivo V1 comes with a 5-inch HD display, and also boasts the vendor’s Hi-Fi sound technology for an immersive media experience. It sports a metallic frame and supports India’s 4G LTE bands. The phone is powered by 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. The device comes with 16GB of flash memory, further expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card. Camera department includes a 13MP rear shooter and a 5MP front snapper, both with 6P lenses and f/2.0 aperture. the device is packed by 2000mAh battery .The vivo V1 is the first in the V series, and runs Funtouch 2.1 OS, which is based on Android Lollipop.
vivo is also planning to launch the V1Max in the country in the coming days in the same Rs 15,000 Rs 20,000 price range. However, there’s no word on the phone’s specifications at the moment.
