Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo is finally releasing the next generation of its XPlay flagship smartphone, today, new details on the specifications of the XPlay 5S have been leaked online.
According to the leak, which was released by anzhuo.cn through their Weibo account, the XPlay 5S will feature 6-inch 4K resolution IPS display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage. The leak also reveals that it will be equipped with a 21-megapixel rear camera, and 12-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 4000mAh battery.
These new details differ from previous reports that said the 5S would feature a 2K resolution display, a Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, a 13-megapixel camera, an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 3500mAh battery. So it looks like Vivo decided to delay the release of the 5S to give them a chance to improve its specifications.
Vivo executives have previously confirmed that the XPlay 5S will be officially launched before the year ends.
