WhatsApp for Android update Allows you to Send & Receive Documents

WhatsApp Messenger for Android has finally received option to share documents. This feature is already rolling out for some stable users with version 2.12.453  It is also available for WhatsApp for Android beta users.

To share a document, you need to use the attachment option and select ‘Document’ from the list. It shows the documents available in your phone. Currently it supports only PDF. You can choose the document and send it to a person or a group. This feature is not available for iOS users yet, so you can’t even send documents to iPhone users yet. It shows a message that the user you are sending to doesn’t have the latest version of WhatsApp.

WhatsApp for iPhone got updated to version 2.12.14 that added option to share photos or videos from other apps on the phone, like Google Drive, Dropbox, or Microsoft OneDrive.
