Xiaomi Mi A1 gets Android 8.0 Oreo beta update

Xiaomi has started rolling out the Oreo update for the selected beta testers. Android 8.0 Oreo comes with features including Background limits, Picture-in-Picture (PIP), Snoozing individual notification, Adaptive icons, Keyboard navigation, AAudio API for Pro Audio, WebView enhancements.

The update is about 1.1GB in size and has the latest Android security update for December 2017. If there are no bugs, all the users will get the Oreo update in the coming weeks.

Xiomi Mi A1 got a price cut in India recently which is now available for Rs 13,999.
