Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 2 at its ongoing event in China. The phablet has been launched in two variants, with the Redmi Note 2 priced at RMB 799 (Rs 8,080 approximately), and the Redmi Note 2 Prime priced at RMB 999 (Rs 10,100 approximately).

Redmi Note 2 features a 5.5-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display, powered by a 2GHz MediaTek Helio X10 octa-core 64-bit processor paired with 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM. It also offers 16GB internal storage. Redmi Note 2 Prime, on the other hand, is powered by a 2.2GHz MediaTek Helio X10 octa-core 64-bit processor paired with 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM and offers 32GB internal storage.
