According to sources, an upcoming Xiaomi handset was spotted. The sources believe that it is the upcoming Redmi Note 2 Pro which flaunts a full metal body. Interestingly, the handset is said to be available in two variants – one with a fingerprint scanner at the back and the other without one. The device would however have similar specs to the Redmi Note 2.
Given that we can expect similar specs on the Redmi Note 2 Pro, we can expect a 5.5 inch full HD display with an octa core MediaTek processor and 2 GB of RAM. Also expected is a 13 MP rear facing camera and 5 MP front facing camera. Given the quickly growing battle for the affordable smartphones, the success of this handset would be dependent on the pricing.
