Xiaomi Redmi Y2 and Realme 1 both phones come with the plastic body, Redmi Y2 has a metallic finish back whereas Realme 1 looks like Glass body which has a diamond finish. The design looks better on Realme 1. On Display, Redmi Y2 has a 5.99-inch (1440 × 720 pixels) HD+ 18:9 display whereas Realme 1 has 6-inch (2160 x 1080 pixels) Full HD+ IPS display also comes with Gorilla Glass which lacks in Redmi Y2 Display is better on Realme 1.
Redmi Y2 powered Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 Processor with Adreno 506 GPU compared to Realme 1 which has Octa Core MediaTek Helio P60 processor with Mali-G72 MP3 GPU both phones performance is good realme 1 is more powerful. Redmi Y2 comes with 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB internal storage whereas Realme 1 has 3GB/4GB/6GB RAM with 32GB/64/128GB internal storage both phones have dedicated MicroSD card slot.
On Camera Redmi Y2 has a 12MP rear camera with LED Flash, 1.25μm pixel size, PDAF, secondary 5MP camera and 16MP front-facing camera with LED flash, Realme 1 comes with a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, a f/2.2 aperture, and 8MP front-facing camera both phones have support for depth mode, 1080P video recording. Redmi Y2 portrait mode is better compared to Realme 1.
Redmi Y2 runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with MIUI 9.5 whereas Realme 1 runs on ColorOS 5.0 based on Android 8.1 (Oreo). Both phones have Face Unlock feature works well under good lighting does not work in the Low light. Realme 1 lacks fingerprint scanner which is available in Redmi Y2. Both phones have single speaker output is decent.
Realme 1 has Dual 4G VoLTE support which lacks in Redmi Y2. Both have Micro USB port Realme 1 has 3410mAh battery compared to 3080mAh battery on Redmi Y2 both phones do not support fast charging able to deliver one day of battery life.
