Xiaomi will not launch Mi Note 2 & Mi MIX in India

Xiaomi earlier today launched Mi Note 2 and Mi MAX in China both smartphones will go on sale in China starting next month now according to reports Xiaomi will not launch Mi Note 2 & Mi MIX in India.

According to Digit, in an interaction with the media post the launch of the Mi Note 2 and Mi MIX, Xiaomi’s Vice President, Hugo Barra said that these phones will only be available in China. Tcompany has also launched an international version of the Mi Note 2 with support for 37 global networks. The report suggests that the company will not be making the new flagships available in India, as it currently wants to launch only one flagship phone in the country per year.

Xiaomi Mi Note feature a 5.7-inch QHD OLED Sunlight Display Pro with a 77.2 percent screen-to-body ratio  powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 821 quad-core processor paired with Adreno 530GPU. The smartphone comes with  – 4GB of RAM/ 64GB of storage, and 6GB of RAM/ 128GB of storage options. Xiaomi Mi Note 2 includes a 22.56MP camera at the rear with a Sony IMX318 sensor, EIS (electronic image stabilisation), f/2.0 aperture, 4K video recording support and a dual-LED flash. The phone gets a dedicated 3-axis gyroscope inside the main camera that helps with EIS on 4K video stabilisation. On front it has a 8MP selfie shooter with an IMX268 Exmor RS Sensor, autofocus and f/2.0 aperture. In terms of connectivity, it offers support for 37 global networks, 4G LTE+ with up to 600Mbps downloads speeds, NFC, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, a USB Type-C port, and GPS with SAP. Under the hood, it gets a beefy 4,070mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support.

Xiaomi Mi Note 2 comes in Piano Black and Glacier Silver colors and is priced at 2799 yuan (US$ 410 / Rs. 27610 approx.) for the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version and the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version costs 3299 yuan (US$ 486 / Rs. 32550 approx.) . The global 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version with global LTE bands (6 types, 37 bands) is priced at 3499 yuan (US$ 516 / Rs. 34,525 approx.). It is now available for order in China and goes on sale from November 1st.

Xiaomi Mi MIX comes in black color and is priced at 3499 yuan (US$ 516 / Rs. 34530 approx.) for the standard 4GB RAM with 128GB storage version and the Mi MIX special edition with 18k carat gold finish on the frame and rear camera and fingerprint sensor, 6GB RAM and 256GB storage costs 3999 yuan (US$ 590 / Rs. 39,470 approx.). It is available for order in China from today and goes on sale from November 4th.
