6GB RAM variant of Nokia 8 Launched

Nokia has introduced a new variant of Nokia 8 with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage which is now available in Finland.

Nokia 8 smartphone features a 5.3-inch Quad HD display with sculpted Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 835 Processor. It has a 6GB DDR4X RAM with 128GB (UFS 2.1) storage which is further expandable up to 256GB with MicroSD Card.

Dual SIM device runs on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) with promised monthly Android security update and will also get the Android O update. Nokia 8 features a 13 MP dual image-fusion rear camera with both color and monochrome sensors, plus a wide-angle 13 MP phase detection autofocus front camera. Both front and rear cameras are equipped with ZEISS optic.The Phone measures 151.5 x 73.7 x 7.9 mm. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (MIMO), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ GLONASS, USB Type-C 3.1 Gen 1, NFC Packed with  a 3090mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0

Nokia 8 comes with a full aluminum unibody design, machined from a single block of 6000 series aluminum, then polished to a luxury mirror finish. Nokia OZO spatial 360-degree audio uses the phone’s 3 microphones and Nokia acoustic technology algorithms to capture the sound in incredible detail then allow playback on the Nokia 8, YouTube and other supporting devices.

Nokia 8 6GB RAM variant comes in Polished Blue color and is available via DNA and Verkkokauppa at a price of €649.99 (US$ 769). It will go on for sale starting from 19th October.
