Zenflash works only with Zenfone 2 series devices. Let find out in our review how Zenflash works and camera samples.

In the Box we get ZenFlash.Silicon Case,2 velcro strips, User Guide and Warranty Card. Zenflash is a small device made up of a plastic with a  Dimension of 48 x 30 x 15.7mm and 20g in weight.

It has one ambient light sensor in the front and the photodiode at the top which  detect flash light when the default camera flash turns on. There is a micro USB pin with the cable wrapped around the ZenFlash. The body of the ZenFlash is made of plastic with a rubberized grip at the sides. On the back, it has a velcro attachment with adhesive tape to stick it to Zenfone. The USB OTG cable needed to power on the Zenflash is covered in this compact design, that is simple to remove and put it back.  Zenflash comes with a  protective sleeve which is of Rubber and can be used to carry Zenflash Xenon Flash Dongle when Not in Use.

Lets talk about how to connect Zenflash to Smartphone. First Remove the ZenFlash from the silicon case. Then remove the Micro-USB pin then remove the plastic to uncover the adhesive side and stick it to the phone in the same direction of LED flash, connect the micro USB pin of ZenFlash to the micro USB port of the smartphone after connecting Zenflash app automatically  opens and we can use Zenflash to capture images but if the app doesn’t open you need to download app from Google Play. you need to disconnect and remove the ZenFlash after use. the Zenflash works in extremely low light condition only.

ZenFlash is said to be 100 times brighter than a normal LED flash on a smartphone which proves to be true. It drives power from the micro USB port of the Zenfone. The current input of ZenFlash is 5V 300mA and the recharge time is 5-6 seconds. It can capture image from Distance of  2.4 meters. Provide low distortion images with extreme details in low light condition.  The performance is very similar to some high-end camera’s Flash. Zenflash comes with an App, that lets you customize this Xenon flash features. Most important one of them is the distance adjustment. You need a good distance from focus object or person in order to capture the high-quality photos in low light.keeping Zenflash too closer will generate over-exposure and burn your photographs with excessive light. the overall performance of device is quite good and can be used in low light to capture decent images. check out the camera samples below taken where there was no light.ZenFlash is priced at Rs 1,659 is available on Flipkart. Zenflash works with Zenfone series smartphone.
