On Design Both Zenfone 3 Max and Oppo F1s comes with Uni-body metal design. Asus Zenfone Max and Oppo F1s comes with a 5.5-inch Display with 2.5D curved glass display on top of It. Oppo F1s has an HD (1280 x 720 pixels) Display whereas Asus Zenfone 3 Max comes with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels)  Display which has better viewing angles.

Asus Zenfone 3 Max is powered by a 1.4GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 430 processor with Adreno 505 GPU as compared to Oppo F1s has a 1.5 GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6750 64-bit processor with Mali T860 GPU. Oppo F1s comes in two variants one with 3GB RAM and 32GB of storage and 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage with MicroSD card support up to 128GB. On storage Zenfone 3 Max has a 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 64GB. Asus Zenfone 3 Max comes with Hybrid SIM support whereas Oppo F1s as Dedicated MicroSD card slot.

Asus Zenfone 3 Max runs on Android 6.0 with brand-new ASUS ZenUI 3.0 which will get Android N Update. Oppo F1s runs on ColorOS 3.0 based on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) no details when Oppo will roll out marshmallow or Nougat update. On camera Oppo F1s has a 16MP front camera with Flash and 13MP rear camera with LED Flash whereas Zenfone 3 Max ha a 16MP rear camera with PDAF, LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture and 5 MP front facing camera also comes with similar filters which are available in Oppo F1s but lack flash.

Connectivity options on both smartphones include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, USB OTG  and comes with Fingerprint Scanner. Oppo F1s is packed with a 3075mAh battery as compared to Asus Zenfone 3 Max which has a higher 4100mAh battery.
