Asus introduced Zenfone 3s Max with 5.2-inch Display and 5000mAh Battery in India priced at Rs 14,999 which is a lower model of Zenfone 3, Max. Asus has already launched Two model of Zenfone 3 Max in India. Is it worth the price tag lets find in Our Full Review

Asus Zenfone 3 Max comes with metal body design similar to Asus Zenfone 3 Max. On the front there is a Front facing camera, Earpiece, notification LED, Asus logo, Below there is on Screen buttons and Fingerprint Scanner on Home Button.On the bottom, there is Micro USB port and Speaker along with a microphone. On the top, the phone is a 3.5mm audio jack. Volume rockers and the power button is on right side of the phone.Coming to the left, we have SIM card slot device comes with Hybrid SIM  supports which means One SIM with MicroSD card or  Dual SIM card support.

 

 

 

 

Metal Back On the back with 13 Megapixel rear camera with Dualtone LED Flash, Asus branding and antenna lines on top and bottom. Asus Zenfone 3s Max has a curved edge on the rear which gives it grip to use the smartphone in single hand.Zenfone 3s Max measures 149.5 x 73.7 mm x 8.85mm and weighs 175 grams similar to Zenfone 3 Max. Overall build and Design of Phone is good feels compact with 5.2-inch Display Size.

On Display Asus Zenfone 3s Max comes with a 5.2-inch HD  (1280 x 720 pixels) Display with 2.5D Curved glass on top of it. The display produces Good viewing angles, colors in sunlight as well as indoor conditions Asus Zenfone 3s Max is Powered by a 1.5 GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6750 64-bit processor with Mali T860 GPU coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage out of which 23GB is available for user device also supports MicroSD card up to 2TB. Zenfone 3s Max performance is fast we didn’t face any issue while normal use or while playing games. While Playing high-end games, we notice frame drops, some heating, and lag. Device performance was way better while on regular tasks like using the Internet, Apps or playing games. Asus Zenfone 3s Max performed well in our Benchmark test On AnTuTu Benchmark phone Score 37015 points, Geekbench 3 scores 584 on a single core and 2423on Multicore

Fingerprint Scanner Working

Zenfone 3s Max comes with a Fingerprint Scanner on a front which is first from the company. Other Zenfone 3 series has fingerprint Scanner on Rear The fingerprint scanner can be used to Answer Incoming calls, Unlock device. Camera

Coming to Camera  Zenfone 3s Max has a 13MP rear camera with  Dual LED Flash  f/2.0aperturer and 8MP front camera.  The phone also comes with camera modes such as Auto, Manual, HDR Pro, Beautification, Super Resolution.Low Light, QR code, Night, Effect, Selfie, Panorama, Time Lapse and more modes. Both Front and the Rear camera produces good images in Outdoor and indoor condition but struggles in a low light condition.Overall camera performance is good.

 

 

 

 

 

Asus Zenfone 3s Max (ZC521TL)  runs on  Android 7.0 Nougat with Asus own ZenUI 3.0 on top of it. It comes with a lot of pre-loaded apps similar to marshmallow build which can be uninstalled.Asus has include power & Boost app which clears the memory of apps which are not in use. Asus has included nougat features like Multiwindow and more modes in Nougat update. Some of the apps preinstalled are  ZenFone Care, ZenFit; Mobile Manager; Themes; Gallery; MyAsus Service; photo collage; MiniMovie; Quick Memo; Do It Later; and Asus Web storage. Third-party apps include Facebook, Facebook Messenger, Instagram, and Go2Pay.Also, there is One Hand mode, Photo College App, Double Tap to wake up, App lock and more. Users can enable Multiwindow mode which is available for selected Apps.The overall software is fast, and we didn’t face any lag.
