Asus Zenfone Lite L1 Review

Asus Zenfone Lite L1 is a budget smartphone in India that takes on Redmi 6A, Yu Ace, and Lenovo A5  Is this the best phone priced under Rs 6000? Let’s find out in our review

Asus ZenFone Lite L1 comes with a Plastic build. On the front has a 5.45-inch Display, front-facing camera with LED Flash, earpiece, Sensors, On Screen button. power and volume buttons on the right. The SIM tray is on the left which has support for a dedicated microSD card slot. On the back, it has a Single Camera, LED Flash and Asus branding which lacks Fingerprint Scanner. Speaker grill and MicroUSB port on the bottom, 3.5mm audio jack on top. The overall build of phones is good and can be used in Single hand.

It comes with a 5.45-inch HD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio which produces good colors and Viewing angle, Display in outdoor conditions is decent auto brightness sensor works fine. it is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 430 processor which is almost 2 years old  It is good considering other phones come with a Quad-core processor. It has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which is expandable using the microSD card slot. performance is good Normal games works fine there is lag slow down, the phone gets warm while playing games like PUBG. Zenfone Lite L1 has support for Face unlock which works fast in daylight, It does not work under low light.

Asus ZenFone Lite L1 runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with ZenUI 5.0. Preinstalled apps include Mobile Manager, Weather, File Manager, Themes, Instagram, Facebook, Facebook Messenger some of which can be uninstalled. It comes with Page marker, Twin Apps, Game Genie, Kids mode, Zenmotion gestures and More. The overall user interface is smooth, No details if Lite L1 will be getting Android Pie Update or Not.

ZenFone Lite L1 comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front-facing camera both cameras have LED Flash. Photos captured from rear camera are decent in good lighting .low light, camera performance is average. It can record 1080P Videos, Video performance is decent. There is also support for portrait mode which does not work all time.

 

 

 

 

 

Connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, GPS, and GLONASS. It does not have support for Dual 4G VoLTEE, Jio VoLTE works fine, Voice call quality is good, Audi output from the speaker is average it comes with an Outdoor mode which helps to increase volume. Zenfone Lite L1 is packed by a  3000mAh  battery with a 5.2W 1A charger in the box which takes around 3 Hours to Charge fully which is able to deliver 12-15 Hours of battery life with 6-7 Hours of Screen on Time on heavy use on normal use battery backup is close to one day.



Asus Zenfone Lite L1 comes in Gold and Black Colors priced at Rs 5999. It offers good performance, Compact Design, Decent battery Life.
