Creo mark 1 gets new update adds highly customizable and advanced Audio Effects

CREO  today, announced the update to its proprietary stock Android based Operating System – FUEL OS, for the month of June 2016. The latest update packs in customizable Audio Effects, which allow users to natively change sound effects, across apps and system software; be it games or streaming or listening to stored music.

Keeping up with the promise of a New Phone Every Month, by providing monthly OS level updates, CREO rolled out its first set of updates last month. With the Audio Effect feature added this month, users get a quick and easy way to enhance their media listening experience. The feature stems from the understanding that a user spends a lot of time consuming varied media on their smartphone and each media demands a different audio output. From gaming to listening to music to hearing an audio-speech on the phone; there are different audio modes best suited for each. Audio Effects also makes it dead simple for Fuel OS users to toggle between audio modes.

Sai Srinivas, CEO & Co-Founder, CREO, said “Audio has become integral to the modern day smartphone user – from music and movies to sound effects in games. When the feature suggestion came from our active community in CREO Forums, we realized we must build a universal and seamless solution to tuning music in Fuel OS, applicable for all apps and customizable to your output. With this update, we believe audio will never be the same on Fuel OS, starting this June”

Audio Effects is Fuel OS’ endeavor to empower the sounds in your phone, and to do it not just for all apps and games in your phone, but also adapt it for all outputs from your phone, be it Bluetooth, AUX Output or USB.

The Audio Effects in Fuel OS now sports five presets:

Audio Effects
Description
Balanced
Great sound for all kinds of media – music, games and videos
Acoustic
Warm tone and higher mids best suited for acoustic music
Bass Boost
Punchy bass and crisp beats that go great with electronic tracks
3D Surround Sound
Envelop yourself with powerful atmospheric surround sound
Clear Voice
Focus on spoken voices with emphasis on clarity
No Effects
Default profile with no effects active

These settings can be used as starting points to further fine tune the audio settings to one’s liking and can be saved as multiple ‘Custom Audio Effects’ to work across apps and beyond.

Focusing on usability and convenience, while the user can toy with the graphically intuitive 10 band equalizer to listen to the effects in real time, an expert audiophile can drop deep into advanced settings to tune Reverberations, Surround, Gain Control, Bass Boost and much more and save it in a jiffy.

Shifting sound profiles is also nifty. Apart from the settings menu, at the press of one of the volume rockers, a menu can be dropped down to select your profiles in a couple of quick taps, so you can quickly switch sound profiles as you switch apps.
