Honor 7C Review

Honor 7C comes with a Snapdragon 450 Processor,Dual Rear Camera. Should you buy the Honor 7C at Rs 9999? Let’s find out in our full review

Honor 7C has a Metal body, It has a 5.99-inch (1440 x 720 pixels) 18:9 HD+ display which produces good colors and viewing angle in indoor condition, In bright Sunlight Display viewing angles, are average It does not come with Gorilla glass comes with a 2.5D curved glass also there is Screen protector pre-applied

 

 

 

On the front, there are sensors, an earpiece, front-facing camera below the display it has an On-Screen button, Power button and volume rockers on right, SIM slot on the left which has support for dedicated MicroSD Card slot along with Dual Nano SIM. On top there is nothing. 3.5mm Audio Jack, Micro USB port, Speaker grill present on the bottom.

On The Rear It has a Dual Rear Camera with LED Flash below there is Fingerprint Scanner and Honor branding, Top and the bottom part is made up of plastic. The back panel has curved edges which give good grip in the hand. The phone measures 158.3 x 76.7 x 7.8mm and Weight: 164g can be used in Single. The overall build quality of the phone is good.

Honor 7C is powered by 1.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 450 14nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 506 GPU. Performance is good in terms of daily use when it comes to playing high-end games there was lag and heating issue. It comes with 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage, 4GB RAM with 64GB storage, expandable memory up to 256GB with microSD. Out of 32GB around 23GB is available for the user. The overall performance of the device is good not better than Snapdragon 625 or Helio P60 Processor.

 

It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with EMUI 8.0. Honor 7C comes with a lot of preloaded apps like Instagram, Facebook, True caller, Netflix, UC Browser also there are few games. There is also Ride Mode. It comes with Ride mode, Party Mode, App lock, One Hand mode, and gestures. The user interface is smooth and fast. No details if Honor 7C will be getting an Android P Update or Not.  There is also support for Face unlock which takes few seconds to unlock. It has a fingerprint Scanner which works fast and is responsive.

On Camera, it has a  13MP rear camera with LED flash, secondary 2MP camera and 8MP front-facing camera with LED flash. Rear Camera can record videos up to FHD whereas front camera can record HD Videos. Camera mode includes HDR, panorama, Watermark, Food, Video Mode. The front camera does not have support for depth mode.  daylight, Indoor, Depth mode images are good low light, front camera samples are average. Rear Camera can record Videos up to 1080P whereas front camera can record HD Videos. Video Quality is average. Realme 1 and Redmi Y2 low light camera is better than Honor 7C.

 

 

 

 

Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS. It does not have support for Dual 4G VoLTE. Audio Quality from speaker and 3.5 mm audio jack is loud and clear, Reliance Jio, Idea VoLTE works with Honor 7C, Voice Quality also good. It comes with 3000mAh battery and does not support fast charge takes close to 3 Hour to charge fully. It is able to deliver 14-15 Hours of battery life with heavy use. Battery life on Honor 7C is sort of average.



Honor 7C comes in black blue and gold color. Rs  9,999 for 3GB RAM and  Rs 11,999 for 4GB RAM. At Rs 9999 it offers 18:9 Display, Decent performance, Camera average battery life, Low Light camera and front camera. Other alternatives include Redmi Y2 and Realme 1 which has a better processor and battery life. Redmi Note 5 and realme 1 has FHD+ Display compared to HD+ on Honor 7C.
