Honor 7X Vs Xiaomi Mi A1 : Which one should you buy?

Honor recently launched Honor 7X in India at a starting Price of Rs 12,999 Xiaomi also announced a Price drop of Mi A1 smartphone which is now available for Rs 13,999 both Phones comes with a Dual Rear Camera and 4GB RAM.

Both Phones has Unibody metal body and Fingerprint Scanner on the Rear, On Display Honor 7X has 5.93-inch (2160 x 1080 pixels) Full HD+ 18:9 2.5D curved glass display whereas Mi A1 has 16:9 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD 2.5D curved glass LTPS display. Mi A1 display is protected by Gorilla Glass, Both Phones has Notification LED. Honor 7X has an 8MP front facing camera compared to 5MP on Mi A1. honor 7X has onscreen button whereas Mi A1 has touch capacitive buttons.

On Right, both phones have Power and Volume button, On Bottom, Honor 7X has 3.5mm audio jack, MicroUSB port, and speaker grill whereas Mi A1 has 3.5mm Audio Jack, USB Type-C, and speaker grill. On left both phones have Hybrid SIM slot. On Top, Mi A1 has IR Blaster and Noise cancellation microphone.

On the Rear, Honor 7X has 16MP+2MP Dual Rear Camera with LED Flash, Fingerprint Scanner, and Honor Branding compared to Mi A1 which has similar setup 12MP Dual Rear Camera, Fingerprint Scanner, and Android One Branding.

Honor 7X is powered by Octa-Core Kirin 659 processor with MaliT830-MP2 GPU whereas Mi A1 comes with Snapdragon 625 processor both phones are coupled with 4GB of RAM. In terms of Storage, Honor 7X comes with 32GB / 64GB internal storage whereas Mi A1 has 64GB of internal storage. Out of 32GB around 20GB available for the user. In terms of Performance both phones are good, For high-end gaming Honor 7X is not good you will notice lag and slowdown while playing high-end games.

Honor 7X is packed with a 3340 mAh battery whereas Mi A1 has 3080mAh Battery both phones do not come with Fast Charging support battery backup of One day on with Mi A1 and Honor 7X. If you are the heavy user you need to charge Honor 7X in evening. Mi A1 runs on Stock Android with Android 7.1.2 whereas Honor 7X runs on EMUI 5.1 based on Android Nougat 7.0. Both Phones has support for 4G VoLTE, OTG.

On Camera, Honor 7X has a 16MP rear camera with LED flash, secondary 2MP camera, and 8MP front camera whereas Mi A1 has a 12MP Dual Rear camera and 5MP front-facing camera. Both Rear Cameras has Portrait mode whereas Honor 7X front camera also has support for Portrait mode which works fine in daylight, not in low light.Mi A1 rear camera can shot 4K videos and front Camera can shot 1080P Video whereas Honor 7X Rear camera can shot 1080P videos and 720P From front camera.

Honor 7X comes in Black, Blue and Gold colors and is priced at Rs. 12999 for the 32GB storage version and the 64GB storage version costs Rs. 15999. It will be available exclusively on Amazon.in. Honor 7X offers 18:9 Display, Both front, and Rear camera supports Portrait mode, Average gaming performance whereas Mi A1 offers Stock Android, good performance,  camera are good in daylight, decent in indoor and lowlight on both and No Fast charge
