How to setup Fingerprint scanner on Moto G5 Plus and Functions

Moto G5 Plus comes with a Fingerprint Scanner on the front which also has support for One-Button Nav. Fingerprint Scanner on Moto G5 Plus is not a Home button. Here’s How to Setup Fingerprint Scanner, Working, and Functions on Moto G5 and G5 Plus

Go to setting, then select Fingerprint then Enable Fingerprint + Pattern or Fingerprint + PIN or Fingerprint + Password once this is done then keep fingerprint on the scanner on enabling it. Users can Add up to 5 Fingerprints. Fingerprint Scanner on G5 Plus is fast and responsive we didn’t face any issue. Press on Fingerprint Scanner to Lock the device Check more in Below Video

Moto has included One button nav we can use fingerprint scanner to navigate You can find it on Moto App , Select Actions -One Nav button here’s are Functions Swipe left to Go Back, Tap to Home, Swipe from Right to left to go back, Left to right to open recent apps, Tap and Hold to enable lock screen, Tap and Hold sensor until you feel long buzz to open google assistant. This also works fine

There is No App lock feature using Fingerprint Scanner available preloaded but there are many third party apps like App Locker, FingerSecurity which let you use fingerprint scanner to unlock Apps
