Infinix Hot 30i Review : Budget phone with 8GB RAM

Infinix has launched Infinix Hot 30i in the Hot 30 series It offers a 90Hz Refresh Rate, 8GB RAM, and 128GB Storage priced under Rs 10,000. Here’s our review of Infinix Hot 30i.
We have a Glacier Blue color variant. It has a  Diamond cut design with a plastic build, It does not attract fingerprints. Infinix Hot 30i has a 6.6-inch HD+ notch display, Power and volume button on the right, and SIM Tray on the left. USB Type C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and Speaker on the bottom. On the Rear, it has a 50MP Dual rear camera and Infinix branding. The phone measures 164×75.75×8.4mm and Weight: 191g. The phone is easy to use with a single hand. Overall build quality is good.

 

 

 

On Display, it has a 6.6-inch (1640 x 720 pixels) HD+ IPS LCD Notch screen with a 90Hz Refresh Rate, 500 nits of brightness, and a 1500:1 contrast ratio.  The display produces good colors and viewing angles. brightness in the outdoor condition is good. Infinix Note 12i is available with FHD+ AMOLED Display.

 

Infinix Hot 30i is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio G37 processor with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It comes with 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB (eMMC 5.1) storage which is further expandable memory up to 1TB with microSD. It comes with 8GB of virtual RAM. In terms of normal use, performance is good, and Gaming performance is decent, RAM management is decent. Infinix Hot 12 Pro and Note 12i offer better performance.
On Camera, it has a 50MP primary camera + AI Lens Dual rear camera with Dual LED Flash and 5MP front camera with LED Flash. Both cameras can record 1080p videos. Camera modes include Portrait, HDR, AI CAM, AR Shot, Beauty, Panorama, Face Beauty, Wide Selfie, Time Lapse, and Slow motion The rear camera captures good images in daylight and Low light conditions. The front camera captures good selfies. The video recording is decent.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Infinix Hot 30i runs on XOS 12 based on Android 12. It comes with Video Assistant, Gaming Mode, Social Turbo, Game Mode, Xclone, Smart Panel, Eye Care, AI Assistant, Kids mode, and MemFusion. It comes with multiple preloaded apps which can be uninstalled. the user interface is good.

 

It comes with a Side-mounted Fingerprint sensor which works fast. Connectivity options include  Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, USB Type-C. The speaker output is loud and clear. The call quality is good.  It is packed with a 5000mAh battery which can deliver one day of battery life, we got 8 hours of battery backup in our battery test which includes video playback, gaming, and video test. It takes around 3 Hour 30 min to charge fully with the 10w charger in the box.
Infinix Hot 30i comes in Mirror Black, Glacier Blue, Diamond White, and Marigold color options. It is priced at Rs 8999 special launch price. It offers a 90Hz Refresh Rate, a good camera, battery life decent performance, 8GB RAM, and 128GB storage priced under Rs 10,000.
