Infinix Smart 8 HD Review

Infinix has launched the Infinix Smart 8 HD Budget smartphone in India. It offers a Punch-Hole 90Hz Display, Unisoc T606 processor, and a Side-mounted fingerprint sensor priced at Rs 6299. Here’s our review of Infinix Smart 8 HD.

It has a Timber Texture Finish with Flat edges. It has a 6.6-inch punch-hole display, Volume and Power buttons on the right side, and a SIM Slot on the left side. Speaker Grill, Type C Port, 3.5mm audio jack on the bottom. On the Rear, it has a Square Camera Module with Quad LED Ring Flash. The phone measures 163.6 x 75.6 x 8.5 mm and Weight: 184g It comes with a plastic build, Build quality is good.

On Display, it has a 6.6-inch HD+ IPS LCD punch-hole display with a 90Hz Refresh Rate and 500 nits of brightness. It has a NEG Glass Protection The display produces good colors and viewing angles. brightness in the outdoor condition is good.

Infinix Smart 8 HD is powered by an Octa-Core UNISOC 606 processor with 3GB LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB UFS 2.2 storage which is further expandable memory up to 2TB with microSD. It comes with 3GB of virtual RAM. In terms of normal use, performance is good, Gaming performance is decent. Overall performance is good at this price range. It runs on XOS 13 based on Android 13 Go. It comes with AI Gallery, Video Assistant, Eye Care, and more. It has a Side Fingerprint and face Unlock Support. fingerprint scanner works fast, Face unlock works well in Good lighting.

Infinix Smart 8 HD comes with Magic Ring which offers Face Unlock, Background Call, Charging Animation, Charge Completion Reminder, and Low Battery Reminder.

Camera

On Camera, it has a 13MP Dual AI camera with Quad LED Ring Flash and an 8MP front camera with LED Flash. Camera modes include Portrait Mode, Beauty Mode, and AI Cam. Both Cameras can record 1080p video. The camera performance is decent.

Infinix Smart 8 HD is packed by a 5000mAh Battery which can deliver one day of battery life with Normal use. In our battery test, we got 8 Hours of battery life. It comes with 10W Charging support which takes more than 3 Hours to charge fully.

Infinix Smart 8 HD comes in Timber Black, Shinny Gold, Galaxy White, and Crystal Green colors, Priced at Rs. 6,299. It will be available on Flipkart starting from December 13. There is a 10% discount on Axis bank cards for a limited period, so the effective price is Rs. 5669. It offers a 90Hz punch-hole display, good performance, Battery Life, and side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Camera performance is average.
