Micromax IN 1 Review

 Micromax has launched Micromax In 1 smartphone in India which is a lower-end variant of Micromax In Note 1 launched last year. Micromax In 1 feature HD+ Display, Helio G80 Processor, 5000mAh Battery priced at Rs 10,000 Is it worth buying let’s find out in our review.

Micromax In 1 comes with a Plastic build. It has a Gradient finish with an X-shaped pattern across the rear panel. On the front, it has a 6.67-inch punch Hole display, On the right, it has a Volume and power button, SIM slot, Google assistant button on the left side. USB Type C port, Speaker grill, 3.5mm audio jack on the bottom. On the Rear, it has a 48MP triple rear camera, fingerprint Scanner, and IN logo. Rear Panel doesn’t attract many fingerprints. Rear Panel gives a good drip in hand, Build quality is good. 

On display, it has a 6.67-inch (2400 x 1080 pixels) 20:9 Full HD+ display with 440 nits brightness, 82% NTSC color gamut, Rainbow glass protection. The display produces good colors and viewing angles, Brightness quality in bright sunlight is good. Overall display quality is much better when compared to Redmi 9 Prime, Redmi 9 Power/Poco M3 in this price segment.

Micromax In 1 is powered by Octa-Core MediaTek Helio G80 12nm processor with ARM Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU. It has a 4/6GB LPPDDR4x RAM with 64/128GB storage which is further expandable up to 256GB with microSD.We tested the 4GB RAM variant, In terms of normal use performance is good we didn’t face any heating issues or lag while multitasking, RAM management is good. While playing high-end games for a long time phone does heat up. Overall performance is good. 

On-Camera, it has a 48MP rear camera 0.8μm pixel size, f/1.79 aperture, LED flash, 2MP macro lens, 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and 8MP front camera. Both cameras can record 1080p videos. The rear camera captures good images in daylight conditions, Low light is decent, Phone does lack an Ultra wide sensor. The front Camera captures good selfies, Video recording is decent.

Micromax In 1 run on Android 10,  It does not come with preloaded apps or ads in UI  It comes with stock Android, the User interface is smooth, multitasking. Animations, RAM management is good. Considering Stock Android Micromax should have launched In 1 with  Android 11. It comes with a fingerprint scanner on the rear which works fast, Support for Dedicated MicroSD Card, Google Assistant button. Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C. Call quality is good, Speaker output is decent. 

Micromax IN 1 is packed with a 5000mAh battery which is able to deliver 10-12 hours of battery backup with Dual SIM, heavy usage. In our battery test, we got around 8 Hours of battery. It comes with 18W fast charging which takes around 2 Hours 30 Min to charge fully. The charger does get heat up while charging.





Micromax IN 1 comes in Purple and Blue colors, priced at Rs. 9999 for 4GB RAM and Rs 11499 for 6GB RAM. It offers a Stock Android experience, FHD+ Display, Good performance, Decent Camera, and Battery life.
