Microsoft today launched lumia 540 smartphone in India. Microsoft Lumia 540 smartphone features a 5-inch IPS display with 1280×720 pixel resolution with pixel density of 294ppi.The smartphone is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM.It comes with 8 GB of inbuilt storage which can be expandable up to 128GB via MicroSD card.

.The Dual SIM device runs on Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Denim out-of-the-box It will be upgradable to Windows 10 later in the year.It sports an 8MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash and 5MP front-facing camera.Connectivity options on the device include 3G, Wi-Fi with hotspot functionality, Bluetooth, Micro-USB, GPS/ A-GPS, and FM radio.The device is backed by a 2200mAh battery
