The beta build updates are slated to be pushed to testers by the end of November. While OnePlus is yet to detail the exact feature set packed in the update, it should offer better performance and battery life thanks to tweaks coded in its OxygenOS Android fork. Since the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chip on the OnePlus 3T supports Google Daydream VR, the smartphone might receive additional VR features through the update. The company also released the device trees and kernel sources for developers to create their own custom ROMs for the OnePlus 3T.
