Panasonic Eluga Mark smartphone with fingerprint sensor, Android 5.1 launched in India priced at Rs 11,990

Panasonic India today announced the release of its security-oriented smartphone, the Eluga Mark.  of priced at Rs. 11,990, the Eluga Mark comes enabled with enhanced privacy features such as a fingerprint sensor and Android-For-Work for enhanced IT security & BYOD support, taking the brand appeal beyond private users and tapping the young professionals & enterprise user segment.

Panasonic  Eluga Mark feature a 5.5-inch IPS display powered by a   1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon Octa Core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM an 16 GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 32GB with microSD card .It has a  13 MP rear camera optimized by LED flash and a 5 MP front facing lens. Equipped with a full 4G/LTE connectivity package including advanced A-GPS global positioning technology, the dual SIM model runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) out of box. packed by a 2500 mAh battery .

Commenting on the launch, Mr. Pankaj Rana, Business Head – Mobility Division, Panasonic India, said, “With the growing use of smartphones for a wider range of high-risk activities such as access to cloud data and private information, mobile security is a top priority for users. This control-sensitive device, which achieves complex tasks with the press of a finger or a swipe of the thumb, is personalized for the user and protects the smartphone investment. We are approaching an end of the year which brings our portfolio for 2015 to a total of 16 new devices launch with a few more to come. In 2016 we would be focusing on “Make in India” and 4G enabled devices by targeting international markets and regions.
