Realme C55 Review

Realme has launched the Realme C55 smartphone with the realme Mini Capsule. Realme Narzo N55 is a rebranded variant of Realme C55. Here’s our review of Realme C55.

Realme C55 comes with a 6.72-inch Punch Hole Display with minimal bezels. On right, it has a Volume rocker and Power button, SIM Slot on the left side. The speaker grill, Type C port, 3.5mm audio jack, and noise cancellation microphone are on the bottom. On the Rear, it has a 64MP Dual rear camera, a Glossy and matte texture with Dual tone finish with flat edges. The phone weighs 189.5 grams and is 8.1mm in thickness. the back panel is made up of plastic. It doesn’t attract fingerprints and smudges. Overall build quality is good.

 

On Display Realme C55 features a 6.72-inch (2400 x 1080 pixels) FHD+ IPS LCD Punch Hole screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and up to 680 nits brightness. It offers good colors and viewing angles. brightness under direct sunlight is decent. It comes with a mini capsule a software feature that offers phone charge status, low battery warning, The overall display is decent, the AMOLED panel would have been better.

Realme C55 is powered by MediaTek Helio G88 processor with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB (eMMC 5.1) storage which is further expandable up to 1TB with microSD. We have a 4GB RAM variant with support for virtual RAM. In terms of normal usage or gaming performance is good. The phone does get warm while playing games for a long time. Multitasking and RAM  management are decent.

On Camera, it has a 64MP rear camera, 2MP depth sensor, and 8MP front camera. Both cameras can record 1080p  30fps videos. Camera modes include Timelase, Pano, Portrait, Night, Street, Slow Mo, Pro, and 64MP. It does come with Chroma boost, HDR, and filter mode. Daylight camera samples produce good colors, and Low light is decent. The front camera captures good selfies, but Portrait is hit-and-miss. Video recording is decent at this price range.

Realme C55 is Packed by 5000mAh Battery with 33W SuperVOOC fast charging support which takes around 1 Hour and 20 Min to charge fully. which is able to deliver one day of battery life with normal usage. In our battery test, we got 8 hours of battery backup.

 

Realme C55 runs on Realme UI 4 based on Android 13. It comes with bloatware, Hot apps & Hot game, Ads u can disable ads and Uninstall preloaded apps. It features dynamic widgets, flexible windows, large folders, Smart Slidebar, Dual Apps, App Lock. The user interface is good. It has a Side-mounted fingerprint scanner which works fast. Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS +. The speaker output is loud and clear.

Realme C55 is priced at Rs 10,999 for 4GB RAM, Rs 11,999 for 6GB RAM, and Rs 13,999 for 8GB RAM. It offers good design, performance, and battery life. Realme C55 low light camera is Average, bloatware. Other options include Infinix Note 12i, Moto G52
