Realme has launched realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16, bringing design refinements, AI tools, and system-level optimizations aimed at smoother performance and enhanced personalization.
Light Glass Design and interface updates
The Light Glass Design adds layered transparency, depth, and fluidity to the interface, inspired by glass textures. The Ice Cube Icons replace flat designs with crystalline symbols. The Misty Glass Control Center features a frosted, translucent background, while the Breathing Dock optimizes layout for clarity and structure.
AI and ecosystem integration
realme UI 7.0 supports iPhone and Apple Watch Connect, allowing calls, messages, and health data to sync across devices.
AI tools include:
AI Notify Brief, summarizing notifications into morning and evening briefings with key updates, schedules, and to-dos.
AI Framing Master, providing composition guidance for photography.
AI Gaming Coach, analyzing usage patterns to optimize gameplay and provide personalized insights.
Performance and multitasking improvements
The Flux Engine enhances responsiveness by 15%, daily performance by 22%, and app scrolling smoothness by 29%. The Multi-task Sidebar allows quick access to tools and apps without interrupting ongoing tasks. Seamless Animations ensure natural and fluid transitions.
Personalization options
Flux Theme 2.0 offers large-text themes, panoramic Always-On Display, and support for Live Photos and video wallpapers with AI-powered Dynamic Depth of Field. Additional options include fingerprint animations, interactive desktop icons that can be resized or recolored, widgets, and new lock screen styles.
Rollout Schedule
The realme GT 8 Pro will ship with realme UI 7.0 pre-installed. Other devices, including the GT 7 Pro, will receive updates starting November 2025.
