Design & Display

Realme 5 Pro comes with Diamond-cut design with Gradient finish which realme calls crystal design. It comes with Plastic build, which gets scratches easily. It can be used in a single hand. It has a 6.3-inch FHD+ mini-drop style display with 90.6% screen-to-body ratio which is protected by Gorilla Glass 3+, Display produces good viewing angle, Colors, Display Brightness is good even in outdoor conditions.

Performance

Realme 5 Pro is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 Processor with up to 8GB PDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage. performance is good, no lag or heating issues in day to day life, There is high-performance mode while playing PUBG for long time phone does get heat up. Performance is good for the price point it is available.

Quad Camera

It has a 48MP rear camera with 1/2.0″ Sony IMX586 sensor, 0.8μm pixel size, f/1.79 aperture, LED flash, EIS, 8MP 119° ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.25 aperture, 1.12μm pixel size with 2MP depth sensor, f/2.4 aperture, 1.75μm pixel size, 2MP for 4cm macro with f/2.4 aperture, 1.75μm pixel size and 16MP front-facing camera with Sony IMX471 sensor, f/2.0 aperture. It can record 4K Video, EIS at 1080p, Video recording is decent So as Slow-mo. The rear camera captures good images in daylight conditions, and the wide-angle lens also does good job, for macro shots you have to keep the phone at 4cm from the object, it does not work always, Photos from 48MP main sensor is good, Wide-angle does not work under low lighting. The front camera captures good selfies in daylight and low light contions, depth mode edge detection is average.

Realme 5 Pro comes with 20W VOOC 3.0 Fast charge support which takes less than 80 min to charge a battery and fully charges up to 50% in 30 Min.

Decent Battery Life

Realme 5 Pro is backed by a 4035mAh battery which is able to deliver one day of battery on normal use, In our battery test we got around 8 hours of screen on time, Battery drain faster, While playing we got around 6 hours of Screen on Time.

 


No Notification Light

Realme 5 Pro does not come with Notifications light

Realme 5 Pro priced at Rs 13999 for 4GB RAM, Rs 14999 for 6GB RAM and Rs 16999 for 8GB RAM. 4GB RAM looks value for money option. Its better to with  Realme XT which is priced at Rs 15999  instead of going for 6/8GB RAM variant of Realme 5 Pro. Realme XT offers Glass build, AMOLED Display, In-Display Fingerprint Scanner, 64MP Camera
