Xiaomi has launched Redmi Note 8 in India priced at Rs 9999 which offers Snapdragon 665 processor, 4000mAh Battery, Quad Rear Camera Setup. Here are Reasons To Buy And Not To Buy Redmi Note 8

Design, Display

Redmi Note 8 comes with Aura Fluid Design Glass build, we have got Moonlight White color, Side frame is made up of plastic, back panel does not attract fingerprints. It comes with a 6.3-inch FHD+ display with a 90% screen-to-body ratio, It’s difficult to use in a single hand. Display & Back panel is protected by gorilla glass 5 Overall build quality is good.

Performance 

Redmi Note 8 is powered by Octa-Core Snapdragon 665 11nm Mobile Platform (Quad 2GHz Kryo 260 + Quad 1.8GHz Kryo 260 CPUs) with Adreno 610 GPU. It has 4/6GB RAM and 64/128GB of internal Storage. In terms of Normal usage, performance is good while playing PUBG, Asphalt 9 phone does get heat up, PUBG Cant be played at HD Settings, Gaming performance is decent. Overall performance is good for the price point it is available.

Camera

It has a  48MP rear camera with Dual LED Flash, f/1.79 aperture, PDAF, EIS, 8MP 120° ultra-wide-angle lens with 1.12μm pixel size, 2MP depth sensor and 2MP camera for 2cm macro with 1.75μm pixel size, f/2.4 aperture and 13MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, Rear Camera can record 4K Video, EIS support for 1080p, there is also support for Video recording with wide-angle and Microlens. Redmi Note 8 supports GCAM out of the box. Camera performance in daylight, low light, microlens, Portrait mode is good, the front camera is decent.

Battery Life

Redmi Note 8 comes with a 4000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. Xiaomi has provided a fast charger this time which takes close to 2 hours to charge the device fully. Redmi Note 8 is able to deliver one day of battery backup, In our test we got around 7-8 hours of screen on time.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ads in MIUI 

Redmi Note 8 runs on MIUI 10 with Android Pie it comes with Gesture support, App Lock, Dual Apps, Second Space and more. MIUI also comes with full-screen ads or pop-up ads while using you can disable ads.

 


Redmi Note 8 priced at Rs 9999 for 4GB RAM and   Rs  12999 for 6GB RAM. It offers good design, performance, Camera, battery life.
