Poco has launched the Poco M2 Smartphone in India. POCO M2 with Helio G80 Processor, 6GB RAM, 5000mAh Battery. Here are the top reasons to buy & Not to Buy Poco M2.

 

Display & Build.

Poco M2 comes with a textured finish design with a Plastic build, the Rear panel does attract fingerprints compared to Redmi 9 Prime. In hand feels is good overall build quality is good. It has a 6.53-inch (2340  × 1080 pixels) Full HD+ Dewdrop Notch display which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It produces good colors and  Viewing angle, Brightness could have been better.

6GB RAM

 

Poco M2 is powered by Octa-Core MediaTek Helio G80 12nm processor with up to 1000MHz ARM Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU. It comes with 6GB LPPDDR4x RAM with 64/128GB eMMC 5.1 Storage. Performance is good in terms of normal use, multitasking, No major heating issue. The phone does get heat up while playing high-end games. Poco M2 is an affordable smartphone with 6GB RAM.

Camera
On-Camera, it has a 13MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, LED flash, 8MP 118° ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, 2MP depth, 5MP 4cm macro camera with f/2.4 aperture, and 8MP front camera. Both cameras can record 1080p videos, No EIS support, Video recording is decent, Daylight, Wide-angle images are good, low light decent, portrait, Macro mode works well in good lighting conditions.

 

 

Battery Life
Poco M2 comes with a 5000mAh battery which is able to deliver one day of battery with heavy use, In our battery test, we got around 10 hours of battery life.

 

No Fast Charger in Box
Poco M2 has a 5000mAh battery,18W Fast Charging support It comes with 10W Charging in Box which takes around 3 Hours to Charge fully. with 18W Charger it takes around 2 Hour 30 Min to Charge.

Poco M2 has a Fingerprint Scanner on the Rear which works fast, There is also support for Face Unlock,  IR sensor, Speaker output is average.

 

 


Poco M2 comes in Slate Blue, Brick Red, Pitch Black colors priced at  Rs 10,999 for 6GB RAM and Rs 12,499 for 6GB RAM, 128GB Storage. It offers FHD+ Display, good performance, camera, battery life, No Fast Charger in Box. The base model offers value for money compared to the 128GB Storage variant where Redmi Note 9, Realme 6i available.
