Xiaomi has launched Redmi 8A Dual in India which takes on Realme C3. Redmi 8A Dual has a Dual Rear Camera compared to 12MP Single on Redmi 8A. Here are Top Reasons to Buy & Not to Buy Redmi 8A Dual.

Design, Display




Redmi 8A Dual comes with Aura XGrip design which looks good also gives a good grip in hand. It has a 6.22-inch HD+ Display that can be used in a single hand. The display produces good colors and viewing angles. Redmi 8A Dual Display is protected by Gorilla Glass 5.

Battery Life

Redmi 8A Dual has 5000mAh battery which is able to deliver more than 2 days of battery life, In our battery test we got around 12 hours of screen on time, performance is decent for not for playing games like PUBG. It lags in between.

Fast Charging


Redmi 8A Dual has support for 18W fast charging, Box charger is 10W which takes close to 3 hours to charge fully from 0-100%. With 18W fast charger,  around 10-15min difference compared to Box charger. It comes with USB Type C port which is unique in this price range.

Decent Camera

Redmi 8A Dual comes with a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, Dual PDAF autofocus, secondary 2MP camera, and 8MP front-facing camera. It can record 1080P videos. Overall Camera performance is decent. Redmi 8A 12MP Sony IMX363 sensor is much better than Redmi 8A Dual.

 

 

 

 

 

Decent Performance
Redmi 8A Dual is powered by Octa-Core Snapdragon 439 processor with Adreno 505 GPU. It comes with 2/3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. In terms of daily usage, performance is good, playing high-end games like PUBG, Asphalt 9 phone does lag and gets warm no major heating issue. RAM management is average. Redmi 8A Dual takes on Realme C3 which comes with a More powerfull  Helio G70 processor.

 


Redmi 8A Dual comes in Sky White, Sea Blue and  Midnight Grey color options priced at Rs 7299 for 2GB RAM and Rs 7999 for 3GB RAM. It offers good design, battery life, fast charging support. a decent camera and overall performance.
