Redmi A4 5G Review

Redmi A4 5G is the latest smartphone from Redmi in the A series. It comes with a Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 processor. POCO C75 5G is rebranded Redmi A4 5G. Here’s our review of Redmi A4 5G Review.

Redmi A4 5G comes with a Plastic build design with a Glossy finish. It has a 6.88-inch Notch display, a Volume and Power button on the right side, SIM Card slot on the left.3.5mm audio jack on top. Type C port, speaker grill, and noise cancellation microphone on the bottom. On  Rear it has a 50MP circular camera module and Redmi 5G branding. Overall build quality is good.

 

On Display Redmi A4 5G  feature a 6.88-inch (1600 x 720 pixels) HD+ 20:9 aspect ratio  Notch display with 120Hz refresh rate, up to 600 nits of peak brightness. The display produces good colors and view angle. Outdoor brightness is decent.

It is powered by  Octa Core Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 4nm Mobile Platform (2 GHz x 2 A78-based + 1.8GHz x 6 A55-based Kryo CPUs) with Adreno 611 GPU. It comes with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM with 64GB / 128GB UFS2.2 internal storage which is furter expandable up to 1TB with microSD. We used 4GB RAM varinat, Daily use, mutlitasking experince was good, while playing games phone does get warm not for gaming. Overall for normal use performance is good.

On Camera it has  a50MP rear primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, secondary camera and 5MP front camera. Both Cameras can record 1080p Videos. Video recording , front Camera is decent. Rear Camera captures good images in daylight condtions , Low light is decent.

Redmi A4 5G runs on Android 14 with HyperOS. It comes with some pre-installed apps can also be uninstalled. user interface is smooth. Speaker output is decent.  5G only works with Jio network, No 5G support for Airtel users.  It comes with side-mounted fingerprint scanner which is fast.

It  supports 18W fast charging, which takes around 2 Hours to fully charge the 5160mAh Battery. It comes with a 33W Charger in the box.

The Redmi A4 is Packed with a 5160mAh battery, which can deliver one day of battery life with Normal use. In our battery test, we got around 8 Hours of battery life, which includes Gaming, YouTube, and Social media Apps.

 

Redmi A4 5G priced at Rs 8499 for 4GB RAM and Rs 9499 for 4GB RAM with 128GB storage. It offers 120Hz Display, Good performance, Battery life, Decent camera, Fast Charging suppport, lacks Airtel 5G suppport. POCO C75 with Same Specs available for Rs 7999
