Samsung Galaxy S7 to feature 5.7 inch Display, Snapdragon 820

Samsung smartphone codenamed Lucky-LTE surfaced on Geekbench yesterday with Exynos 8890 Octa-Core SoC. Now the same smartphone has surfaced on AnTuTu (Via) with a Snapdragon 820 SoC. This reveals that Samsung is testing both the Exynos 8890 or Exynos M1 with custom CPU cores and Snapdragon 820 on a prototype smartphone that could be Galaxy S7.

5.7-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) Quad HD display
4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage
Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop)
16-megapixel rear camera
5-megapixel front-facing camera.

Even though the chart shows the Snapdragon 820-powered device scoring 65775 points overall, similar to the Snapdragon 810, behind the Exynos 7420, the smartphone scored 23597 points in the GPU performance test, better than both. Qualcomm recently said that Adreno 530 GPU will offer 40% better performance compared to the Snapdragon 810’s Adreno 430 GPU.A recent report from Korea said that the Galaxy S7 will come in two versions, smaller version with a 5.1-inch Quad HD screen along with the larger 5.7-inch model.
