Xiaomi Mi A1 gets Android 8.1 Oreo Update in India

Six months After Android 8.0 Oreo now Xiaomi has finally rolled out Android 8.1 Oreo Update for Mi A1 Android One smartphone. The update size is about 1157.5MB and comes with June 2018 Google Security patches.

As the OTA update is rolling out in batches, it will take some time to reach your device. You will receive the push notification on your device once the update hits your device. You can also check for the update manually by going to Settings -> System -> System Update -> Check for update. After an update, some users have lost all in box messages.

Xiaomi Mi A1 features a 5.5-inch Full HD Display powered by 2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 14nm processor with 650MHz Adreno 506 GPU. On Camera it has a 12MP rear camera with wide-angle lens, 1.25μm pixel size, f/2.2 aperture, dual-tone LED flash, a secondary 12MP camera with telephoto lens, 1.0 μm pixel size, f/2.6 aperture, PDAF and 5MP front-facing camera. Packed with a  3080mAh  battery.
