Commodore, a company that was a leader in personal computers in the 80′s is returning only this time it is launching a smartphone, according to a report from Wired. The company is all set to unveil a new Android smartphone in Europe this week.
Dubbed as Commodore PET, sports a 5.5 inch 1,920 x 1,080 IPS display protected by Gorilla Glass 3 and is powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core Mediatek processor. Other features includes a 13-megapixel rear facing camera, 8MP front facing shooter with a dedicated shutter button and a hefty, 3000 mAh battery.
There phone with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of expandable storage space will be priced at around $300 and one with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of expandable storage space will cost $365. Both the phones come with free 32 GB microSD cards in the box.
