Huawei’s sub-brand Honor today launched the Honor 7 in Indian market. Smartphone is upgrade over its predecesors, the Honor 6 and 6 Plus we got hands on with the smartphone couple of days before here are hands on and photos.
The front features a 5.2-inch display with full 1920 X 1080 pixels HD resolution which offers a ppi of 424 The screen delivers good viewing angle and seemed smooth and responsive during our brief usage.
Above the display, there is 8 Mega-Pixel front facing camera with a front-facing LED flash, the earpiece and sensors. The bezel below the screen is bare, with On screen Android navigation keys as there are no capacitive buttons
On the right there is the power button and volume rocker.
On the left side, there’s an Ejectable tray that holds a nano-SIM card slot.Next to the tray, there is another button which Honor is calling the Smart Key. This button is Customizable, letting you configure actions for a single press, double press or long press.on the left side of the phone the Smart Key allows you to configure it for three settings including Ultra snapshot, torch, Voice recording, and screenshot. Press and hold and it will call up your favourite app
The bottom edge is home to the micro-USB port and loudspeaker grill, while the top edge is where you’ll find the 3.5mm audio jack, IR blaster and secondary microphone.
The back panel houses the large square lens that hides the 20MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture and 6P lenses, alongside a dual-tone LED flash. a 20-megapixel model boasting a Sony sensor. Its resulting images are full of life and it offers a number of accessories and filters . Other features include light-painting, time-lapse and panorama modes. Underneath, you’ll find a square fingerprint sensor which takes just 0.5 seconds to unlock the phone .Honor 7 comes with a uni body full-metal frame measuring a slim 8.5mm around the waist. the back panel is made of aluminium alloy.
Huawei Honor 7 is powered by a a 64-bit octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 935 chip paired with 3GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB of internal storage, out of which around 10GB was available for user which is further expandable up to 128GB via MicroSD card.The smartphone runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with Huawei’s custom interface called Emotion UI 3.1. Honor 7 you’ll find new features like ‘Knuckle Screenshot’ which lets you take a screenshot by rapping your knuckles on the display, as well as a smart voice wake-up functionality.on connectivity include 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac and GPS.The device is packed by a 3,100mAh battery. Honor says the battery is supports quick charging.
