Microsoft has updated the support page for mobiles and revealed that Windows 10 for Mobile will start rolling out in December for the existing models. The newly-announced Microsoft Lumia 950, Lumia 950 XL, and the Lumia 550 are the first smartphones to run Windows 10 Mobile out of the box.
According to the FAQs support page, all Lumia smartphones with at least 8GB of internal storage will be eligible for the Windows 10 update. For now, only the smartphones running Lumia Denim (version 8.10.14219.341, or higher) will be receiving the Windows 10 Mobile update. The brand has also announced that not every smartphone will get all the new Windows 10 features due to hardware limitations.
The availability of the Windows 10 for Mobile update will depend on the device models and telecom operators. The company recently confirmed that the Lumia 430, Lumia 435, Lumia 532, Lumia 535, Lumia 540, Lumia 640, Lumia 640 XL, Lumia 735, Lumia 830, and the Lumia 930 will be the very first to receive the Windows 10 Mobile update.
