Realme 5s vs Redmi Note 8

Realme has launched the Realme 5s with 48MP Quad Rear Camera, Snapdragon 665 processor Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 also comes with similar Specs. Check out the comparison between Realme 5s and Redmi Note 8.

 

Realme 5s comes with Crystal Design and Plastic build the same as Realme 5 whereas Redmi Note 8 comes with Glass body. On Display Realme 5s has 6.5-inch HD+ Display,  Gorilla Glass 3+ Protection. whereas Note 8 comes with 6.39-inch (2340 x 1080 pixels) Full HD+  display with Gorilla Glass 5 Protection.

Both phones are powered by Snapdragon 665 Processor, Both Phones have support for a dedicated MicroSD card slot. On-Camera both phones have Quad camera setup 48MP  primary sensor, Realme 5s has a 8MP 119° ultra-wide-angle lens,2MP depth sensor, f/2.4 aperture, 2MP for 4cm macro with f/2.4 aperture whereas Redmi Note 8 has an 8MP 120° ultra-wide-angle lens with 1.12μm pixel size, 2MP depth sensor and 2MP camera for 2cm macro with 1.75μm pixel size, f/2.4 aperture, Both Phones have 13MP front-facing camera.

Realme 5s runs on ColorOS 6 based on Android Pie whereas Note 8 runs on Android Pie with MIUI 10. Dual 4G VoLTE, Fingerprint Scanner on Rear, Face Unlock support. Realme 5s has 5000mAh Battery whereas Redmi Note 8 comes with 4000mAh Battery with 18W fast charge support, Realme 5s does not support fast charging and Type C port.

Realme 5s comes in Crystal Blue, Crystal Purple and Crystal Red colors, is priced at Rs. 9999 for the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and Rs. 10,999 for 4GB RAM with 128GB storage. Redmi Note 8 comes in Nepture Blue, Moonlight White, Cosmic Purple, and Space Black colors priced at Rs. 9999 for the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version and the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version costs Rs. 12,999. Redmi Note 8 offers FHD+ Display, Glass body, Fast charging support whereas Realme 5 has Bigger Battery lacks fast charging, HD+ Display, and Plastic build.
