Poco has launched Poco M2 Pro Smartphone in India which is a rebranded Global variant of Redmi Note 9 Pro. It comes Snapdragon 720G processor, 48MP Quad Rear Camera. Here are the top Reasons to Buy And Not To Buy Poco M2 Pro.

Poco M2 Pro comes with glass design, Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front, and back. It has a 6.67-inch (2400  × 1080 pixels) 20:9 Full HD+ LCD panel with a centered punch-hole display. The display produces good colors and viewing angles in both indoor and outdoor conditions. There is support for Widevine L1 certification.

Performance

Poco M2 Pro is powered by the new Octa-Core Snapdragon 720G 8nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 618 GPU. It comes with 4/6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64/128GB UFS 2.1 storage which is further expandable with MicroSD Card up to 512GB. In terms of normal use, performance is good while playing PUBG, Asphalt 9 phone does get warm no major heating issue. Overall gaming performance is good.

Camera

Poco M2 Pro has a 48MP primary Samsung ISOCELL GM2 with f/1.79 aperture, 8MP 120° ultra-wide-angle lens, 5MP 2cm macro lens, 2MP depth sensor, supports PDAF and EIS It comes with 16MP front-facing camera. video recording support up to 4K at 30fps. EIS Support up to 1080p. It comes with night mode, AI scene recognition, pro color mode. It captures good images in daylight and Indoor conditions, Low light camera is decent. The front Camera captures good selfies. Portrait mode is edge detection is good.

Battery Life


Poco M2 Pro comes with a 5000mAh Battery which is able to deliver more than 2 Days of battery life with Normal use. In our battery test, we got around 11 hours of battery life, In the PUBG Gaming test, we got around 8 hours of backup.

Fast Charging

Poco M2 Pro comes with a 33W fast charger in the box which takes less than 1 Hour 30 Min to charge fully.

Fingerprint Scanner

It comes with a Side-mounted fingerprint sensor that works fast as a typical fingerprint scanner on the rear. When used with case sometimes it fails to unlock the device.

Bulky


Poco M2 Pro comes with Big Display, Glass build,  Big battery it measures 165.7×76.6×8.8mm and Weight: 209g. The phone is heavy and not possible to use with a single hand.





Poco M2 Pro priced at Rs 13,999 for 4GB RAM  and 64GB internal storage, Rs 14999 for  6GB + 64GB and Rs 16,999 for 6GB + 128GB Storage. Realme 7, Narzo 20 Pro are other options available.
