Both Phones come with Fingerprint Scanner and Metal body. Galaxy J7 2017 comes with a 5.5-inch ( 1920×1080 pixels) Full HD SuperAMOLED display whereas Galaxy J7 Prime has 5.5-inch  Full  HD 1920×1080 pixels) TFT display. Both Devices are powered by  1.6GHz Octa-Core Exynos 7870 SoC.

Samsung Galaxy J7 2017 comes with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage whereas Galaxy J7 has 3GB RAM and 16/32GB of internal storage further expandable with a MicroSD card. On Camera, it has a 13MP Rear and front camera. Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime comes with a 13MP Rear camera and an 8MP front camera.
