Samsung has launched the Samsung Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus and Galaxy S25 Ultra smartphones in the Galaxy S25 series at Galaxy Unpacked event.
The Galaxy S25 series features a refined design with a focus on durability and sustainability. The Galaxy S25 Ultra incorporates titanium and Corning Gorilla Armor 2, offering enhanced drop protection, scratch resistance, and anti-reflection properties. There is also Corning’s glass-ceramic with a proprietary anti-reflective surface treatment as well as advanced drop protection and scratch resistance.
Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset provides a significant performance boost compared to the previous generation. This power enables more on-device AI processing, including tasks previously reliant on cloud computing. The Galaxy S25 series features advanced image processing with ProScaler, and Samsung’s mobile Digital Natural Image engine (mDNIe) for improved display power efficiency. The devices also support enhanced gaming experiences with Vulkan Engine and improved Ray Tracing.
Samsung Galaxy S25 series, featuring One UI 7, integrates with Google’s vision for an AI-centric Android operating system. The multimodal AI agents can interpret text, speech, images, and videos. Upgrades to Google’s Circle to Search feature allow for one-tap actions on recognized phone numbers, emails, and URLs.
The devices also facilitate actionable searches with context-aware suggestions and seamless app switching for quick follow-up actions. Natural language understanding is improved, enabling intuitive interactions for tasks like finding photos or adjusting settings. Galaxy AI tools for communication, productivity, and creativity have been expanded. Features like Call Transcript, Writing Assist, and Drawing Assist offer enhanced functionality and ease of use.
