Moto X Play gets Android 6.0.1 update in India

Motorola rolls out Android 6.0.1 update for the Moto X Play smartphone in India which brings  new emojis, including volleyball, taco, middle finger, champagne bottle, as well as new faces for sickness, thinking, and rolling eyes.




 also brings back camera shutter tone switch that lets you  turn off and on the sound of the camera shutter and also lets you launch the camera by double-pressing the power button.

Android Security: Includes the updates of Android security patches until 1st March 2016.
Unicode 8.0 Emoji: support Every emoji up to the Unicode 8.0 update can now be displayed on your phone. There are over 100 new emojis, plus many updated.
Power button to launch camera: You can now launch the camera by double-pressing the power button.
Camera shutter tone switch: The camera shutter tone switch is back. Now you can turn off and on the sound of the camera shutter at any time.
Stability Improvements Includes changes that fix bugs and improve the stability of your phone.




Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) update v24.61.52 for the Moto X Play is 387.4MB in size and also includes the Android security update for March, 2016.
