Panache, a brand of Vardhaman Technology Pvt Ltd, has launched a compact pc-on-stick device in India. It is a dongle-sized device, which can transform any TV, LED or LCD monitor, or a projector into a fully functioning computer via HDMI port. it is a world’s first pocket computer with Windows 10.
Panache Air PC is four-inches long, and comes with a 1.33GHz Intel Atom Bay Trail processor, aided by 2GB of RAM. The device comes in two internal memory variants – 16GB and 32GB. It has a full-sized HDMI connector and a microSD card slot for adding storage. The device comes with a USB 2.0 port, and a micro-USB port to connect with external devices like keyboards and mice, and one micro-USB port for power. In addition, it also has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity options.
“CE and ROHS certified Air PC is the World’s smallest PC that can be carried anywhere and easily fit into a pocket. The fully functional Panache Air PC will revolutionize the way you work and play. The ultra-small, power efficient device is just 10cm (4inch) long, yet packs the power and reliability of a normal PC,” the company commented on the launch.
The Panache Air PC comes with a one-year subscription of F-Secure antivirus. The portable computer’s 16GB variant has been priced at Rs 9,999, while the 32GB edition will go on sale for Rs 10,999. It comes with a one-year replacement warranty.
