After launching Redmi 7A in July Now Redmi has launched Redmi 8A Smartphone in India which comes with 5000mAh Battery. Here are the top Reasons to Buy and Not to Buy Redmi 8A.

Design, Display

Redmi 8A comes with Aura design which has a grip pattern at the back of the phone. which gives good grip in hand also no fingerprint marks. It has a 6.2-inch HD+ Dewdrop Notch Display which is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. The display quality is good.

Performance

Redmi 8A is powered by Octa-Core Snapdragon 439 processor with Adreno 505 GPU. It comes with 2/3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. In terms of daily usage, performance is good, playing high-end games like PUBG, Asphalt 9 is decent phone does get warm no major issue, RAM management is average considering it has just 2GB RAM. Overall performance is good for the price point it is available, Redmi 8A takes on Realme C2 with Helio P22 which has similar performance

Camera

Redmi 8A has a 12MP rear camera with LED flash, Sony IMX363 sensor, 1.4μm pixel size, f/1.8 aperture, Dual PD autofocus, and 8MP front-facing camera. Both front & Rear Camera has support for 1080p video recording. The camera produces good images in daylight and indoor conditions low light camera is average, front camera captures decent selfies.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 



Battery Life

Redmi 8A is backed by a 5000mAh battery which is able to deliver more than two days of battery life on normal use. In our battery test, we got around 12 hours of battery life with heavy use like gaming, video playback, music, camera and more.

Type C Support

Redmi 8A comes with  Type C port, It has support for 18W Fast charging box charger is 2A. It takes close to 3 Hours to Charge fully. With fast charger, it takes 10 min less than box charger, Spending more on Fast charger is useless.

 


Redmi 8A supports dedicated microSD Slot, Splash resistant (P2i nano-coating). Still, No fingerprint Scanner lacks Dual Rear Camera which is available in Realme C2.
