According to leaks Reliance Jio feature Phones will come with a 2.4-inches Display Reliance has partnered with both Qualcomm (for the 205 platform) and Spreadtrum to power its VoLTE-ready feature phones.
Reliance Retail will be launching two models powered by Qualcomm and Spreadtrum chipsets with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of memory, which will be further expandable via microSD cards.On camera, it will have a 2MP Rear camera and VGA cameras at the front. feature phones will come with Jio apps pre-installed. For navigation, the feature phones would also support GPS. expected to come with Wi-Fi and NFC. It is also rumored to come preloaded with WhatsApp and Facebook App
The manufacturing cost for the Spreadtrum-powered feature phone would be $27 , while the Qualcomm 205-equipped phone would cost around $28 (~Rs 1,800) to make. The brand will be selling these devices at subsidized costs to gain initial traction and increase Jio’s subscriber base, which currently has more than 100 million users on its network.
