Samsung Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+ launched

Samsung has launched Samsung Galaxy S24 series phones at Galaxy Unpacked event. Samsung Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ have a 6.2-inch FHD+ / 6.7″ Quad HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity-O flat Displays with 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate and up to 2600 nits brightness.

Both phones are powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy and Exynos 2400 processor. Galaxy S24 comes with 8GB RAM with 128GB / 256GB / 512GB storage whereas Galaxy S24+ has 12GB RAM with 256GB / 512GB storage. It features an in-display Ultrasonic Fingerprint Scanner, Runs on Android 14 with One UI 6.1, and will get seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates for the first time.

Galaxy S24, S2+ has a 50-megapixel primary sensor with OIS, 12-megapixel Ultra Wide Lens with a 120-degree field of view and a 10-megapixel Telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and OIS, and a 12-megapixel front-facing camera. Galaxy S24 series get Galaxy AI that brings Live Translate, two-way, real-time voice and text translations of phone calls within the native app, Interpreter feature, Chat Assist, Note Assist, Transcript Assist, and gesture-driven Circle to Search. AI-powered camera features include Galaxy AI editing tools, Edit Suggestions, Generative Edit, and new Instant Slow-mo. Both the phones come with IP68 ratings for dust and water resistance. Galaxy S24 has a 4000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging, Galaxy S24+ packs a 4900mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging. Both the phones feature a wireless and reverse wireless charging.
