Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 launched

Samsung has launched the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra along with Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Plus at its Galaxy Unpacked event. Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra has a 6.8-inch Quad HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity-O Display with 1-120Hz variable refresh rate, up to 2600 nits peak brightness, Corning Gorilla Armor.

It is powered by 3.4GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy 4nm Mobile Platform with 12GB RAM and 256GB / 512GB/ 1TB storage The phone also has vapor chamber cooling, which is now 1.9 times larger than the S23 Ultra. The phone has a titanium frame, features an in-display Ultrasonic Fingerprint Scanner,  runs Android 14 with One UI 6.1, and will get seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates for the first time.

It has a 200-megapixel primary sensor with OIS, a 12-megapixel Ultra Wide Lens with a 120-degree field of view, 10-megapixel Telephoto lens for 3x zoom, and a new 50MP Periscope lens for 5x zoom, supports 100x digital zoom and it has a 3D ToF sensor. The phone features a 12-megapixel front-facing camera. It supports 8K 30 fps video shooting.

When recording videos, both front and rear cameras are equipped with Dedicated ISP Block for noise reduction, and the Galaxy S24 Ultra analyzes gyro information to distinguish between the filmer’s movement and the subject’s. This allows more effective noise removal and clear videos in the dark, even from far away, said Samsung. AI-powered camera features include Galaxy AI editing tools, Edit Suggestions, Generative Edit, and new Instant Slow-mo. Packed by a  5000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging, Qi wireless and reverse wireless charging. The Galaxy S24 Ultra also comes with a built-in S Pen Stylus.
