Samsung Upcoming tablet Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 gets certfied at TENNA Approved today by China’s Telecommunication Equipment Certification Center (also known as TENAA), the Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 sports an 8-inch AMOLED display with 1536 x 2048 pixels and a 4:3 aspect ratio, weighs 260 grams, and measures 198.2 x 134.5 x 5.4 mm. At just 5.4 mm, the Tab S2 8.0 should become the world’s thinnest tablet, but we’ll just have to wait for Samsung to officially announce the device before giving it this title.
The S2 8.0 runs Android Lollipop, and is powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 1.9 GHz (most likely, this is an Exynos 7420). Other features include LTE, 3 GB of RAM, a 2 MP front-facing camera, 8 MP rear camera, and expandable internal memory (starting at 16 GB).
