This feature was spotted within a WhatsApp translation program, to convert strings from English into Dutch. Phases to be translated include “Enter the current six-digit passcode.”, “Passcodes don’t match. Try again.”, and “Enter a recovery email address”. These strings indicate that the passcode feature is heading to the app soon.
