Google Pixel and Pixel XL goes official

Google has launched its first smartphones that will be be sold under the company’s Pixel brand. The Google Pixel and Pixel XL are manufactured by HTC, but unlike Nexus smartphones the only branding you’ll see on the phones is the G for Google on the back.

Pixel is the first phone in the world with the Google Assistant built in .Google pixel feature a 5-inch (1920x 1080 pixels) AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 4 protection powered by a  2.15 GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 821 processor with Adreno 530 GPU . It has a  4GB of RAM and 32GB / 128GB internal storage/ Device runs on Android 7.1 (Nougat). On camera it has a 12.3 MP rear camera with LED flash, 1.55umpixel, f/2.0 aperture, OIS  and 8MP front camera. Device has a Fingerprint sensor on rear. It measures  143.8 x 69.5 x 8.6mm and  Weight: 143g. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac (2.4/5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, USB Type-C. Packed by a 2,770mAh battery.

Pixel XL  feature a 5.5-inch QHD AMOLED display powered by a Snapdragon 821 CPU clocked at 2.15GHz, with 4GB of RAM and  32GB or 128GB of internal storage.On camera it has a 12.3 MP rear-facing camera has an f/2.0 aperture and OIS. An 8MP front-facing camera. Android 7.1 is pre-installed and a fingerprint scanner is found under the rear camera.  packed by a 3450mAh Battery. There is a rapid charging feature that will power up your cell with 7-hours of juice in just 15-minutes. The phone is 8.6mm thick and weighs 168 grams. The model measures 154.7mm x 75.7mm. A USB-Type C port can be found on the device.

Google Pixel comes in Quite Black, Very Silver and limited edition Really Blue colors and starts at $649 (Rs. 43,190 approx.) for 32GB and $749 (Rs. 49,900 approx.) for the 128GB version. Google Pixel XL is priced at $769 (Rs. 51,240 approx.) for the 32GB version, while the 128GB version costs $869 (Rs. 57,880 approx.) . It will be available for pre-order in the US, Australia, Canada and Germany starting today. It will be available for pre-order in India on Flipkart online on October 13th. It will also be available from Reliance Digital and Croma offline.
