Indian smartphone vendor Intex. At Mobile World Congress Shanghai 2015, banners of Intex’s forthcoming smartwatch — the iRist — have been spotted.
The exhibition area at the conference kicking off tomorrow has banners of the smartwatch, reportedly called “iRist.” The strange name aside, the device in the banners hint at a design that is somewhere close to Pebble’s smartwatches, The Quint reports.
It seems to be made of plastic and features a squarish design with three buttons on the left. While there is no word yet, it could run on Google’s Android Wear OS. Not a lot is known about the soon-to-be unveiled wearable, except the above photo and name.
In addition to the wearable, other banners in the exhibition area hint at a possible new UI called “iDMOS.” The screenshots above show a custom design, which is quite flat and minimalistic to look at. Again there’s not a lot of information available except what’s seen in the above photo.
MWC Shanghai 2015 kicks off tomorrow, and we will have more information as and when Intex makes the announcements.
