Panasonic India today launched a Mini version of its Eluga S with a smaller display but the same processor.The Eluga S Mini features a 4.7-inch HD IPS display and is powered by 1.4GHz octa-core processor. It also packs 1980 mAh battery, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage and microSD card slot. In addition, Panasonic has included 8MP auto-focus primary camera with LED flash, 5MP front shooter, dual-SIM support, 3G, and the usual set of connectivity options in the phone.

On the software front, the phone runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat with Panasonic’s Fit Home UI and comes with support for 21 Indian languages and Blink Play feature, which can be used to trigger the camera shutter to capture selfies.
On the launch, Manish Sharma, managing director, Panasonic India said, “With the launch of the new smartphone, we are here to offer a new dimension to the Eluga S category; wherein the model has been targeted at the younger generation – the always-on-the-go college youth. Keeping in mind the affordability aspect, this device is perfect for consumers looking for innovation, design, superior build quality and advanced features.”
